Covered Wagon Camping
If you are looking for a camping experience that is unique and different, the Beaverfoot wagons could be the right choice for you. Originally built in 1989, our 20 wagons have been renovated this year and restored to their former glory. They truly capture the pioneering spirit of the West!
Set in a perfect circle (which is visible from space), the wagons surround a central campfire, where campers meet in the evening to cook and exchange stories of the day's mountain adventures. Each wagon sleeps two, with a choice of twin beds or a double. Bedding is available from the Lodge if you have not brought your own, and of course if you prefer not to cook, meals are also offered at the Lodge. The sauna is close by to soothe those weary hiking muscles, or to relax after a trail ride on the Beaverfoot horses.
Other services available to wagon campers at the Lodge include day use of the Lodge facilities including internet access (bring your laptop), coffee/tea, use of the sitting room, games, magazines, etc. Also trail rides, canoeing, white water rafting, ATV tours and guided nature, hiking and fishing trips can all be arranged from the Lodge.
Contact us to plan your romantic stay, family reunion or retreat event under the canvas of the Beaverfoot wagons ... it will be a memorable experience!
